Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with twin beds, and a further bedroom with a 4ft double bed. Set in the rolling hills of Le Marche next to fields of sunflowers, Casa Amelia is a stunning home, lovingly restored by its interior designer owners and furnished with a keen eye for detail using French and other antique and country pieces.  . The house retains a peaceful charm, whilst incorporating the latest creature comforts including a plasma screen TV, cinema surround sound, satellite channels, Bose ipod docking station and CD players. The private, cutting edge black swimming pool has a children’s paddling area and there's an outdoor shower, fridge and loggia for shade. Located less than 10 minutes drive from San Ginesio, one of Le Marche's most beautiful villages, with superb local shops and only an hour and a quarter from Ancona Airport, Casa Amelia will not fail to deliver on those dreams of the ultimate La Dolce Vita holiday.  .  . On the other side of the house another patio for evening sunshine and to watch the sunsets. LOCALITY San Ginesio has all your day to day requirements, a small supermarket and bars and restaurants, You will find real Italian ice-cream, friendly locals, several festivals, music, history, art and culture in this original medieval town, including the Palio on the 15th August, where the locals dress in medieval costume for traditional games on horseback. We are only a short distance from the Sibillini National Park. These mountains have always been surrounded by mystery. Several places have names to demonstrate this: "Grotta delle Fate" - Fairies' cave, "Gola dell'Infernaccio" - Hell's Gorge, "Poggio Paradiso" - Paradise Hillock. Explore the mountain trails and swim in Lake Fiastra. Marche offers stunning views, beautiful hilltop towns, the mountains, the coast with sandy beaches, the local art and culture, Italian food and wine, a special holiday, we promise!  .
 .. GETTING HERE Our nearest airport is Ancona - a 1 hour 30 minute drive from the house. Ryanair has a daily flight, go to www.ryanair.com for availability. The closest alternative where you can often find cheaper flights is Pescara (also Ryanair) - a 2 hour drive to Casa Amelia. B.A. and Alitalia fly to Rome or Bologna, a 4 and 3.5 hour drive respectively. Cars can be hired from the airport, and we would recommend that you pre-book in advance with either www.holidayautos.com or via Ryanair for this service.
