A wonderful place to relax or to use as a base to explore the treasures of Le Marche.   Established in 1982, the Capinera family have 40 hectares in total. 7 planted to mainly red grape vines. The lime and clay soil is at an average elevation above sea level of 200 metres. In recent years the Capineras' have implemented a serious plan to replace older vines with practical modern plantings. Low cropping levels of no more than 60 quintals and scrupulous bunch selection complete the cellar's strategy to improve quality year after year.  ... More about the wine LOCALITY The Vineyard is just outside the medieval hill town of Morrovalle, a lovely place rich in culture.  Morrovalle is only 30 -40 minutes from the airport, and about 10 minutes from the coast. Visit nearby Loreto, with it's amazing cathedral, art and museum. Civitanova Marche on the coast with fabulous fish restaurants, Macerata, the provincial capital, and don't forget to visit the shoe factories of Le Marche, the best are in this area. The National Park of Conero is a short distance away together with the beautiful beaches of Sirolo and Numana.  ..
