There is availability of discreet use of the owners private pool by arrangement. . ..![]() Access Via a private 'white' road from San Ginesio to the owners house along a driveway of roses, gardens (and the owners dogs). The apartment has its own gates so you can be private and dog free. ..![]() The San Ginesio Hideaway is at the end of the drive, no passing traffic, except the chickens! Location Le Marche is between the Appennine Mountains and the Adriatic sea. Its landscape varies dramatically between rugged mountains and rolling hills, with a village on every hilltop. The coast is only 45 minutes away with sandy beaches and great fish restaurants, the countryside is of small farms and vineyards, the region of the Verdicchio, Rosso Conero and Rosso Piceno wines. Marche is full of undiscovered treasures -with its Papal and Imperial connections, it was a region of steady, perhaps even competitive patronage: it is rich in Benedictine abbeys, well-endowed churches and monasteries and works of art. A particular joy of the area is to be able to look at works of art in churches and galleries in small cities where it is unlikely that there will be any other visitors. As well as works by painters of the local schools of Sanseverino, Camerino, Fabriano there is a strong Venetian presence. Carlo and Vettore Crivelli lived in the Marche as did Lorenzo Lotto.
