B&B Vento di Rose

The landscape you can admire from the windows has inspired the names of the rooms:

AURORA: (above) on the east garden, its colour is the light blue of the sea at dawn.

CREPUSCOLO: (above) on the west, its colour is the sky at sunset

PROFUMO DI SERA: (top right) it’s as white as the light of the stars. From its window you can admire the Sibillini mountains when at night are lit by the stars.

Each windows of our house opens on an enchanting natural scenery from the blue of the Adriatic sea to the Sibillini mountains, running along the sinuous profile of the green hills, where ancient Medieval villages witness the magnificence of a glorious past. Our B&B is dipped in the surprising colors of the surroundings, the ochre and the changing green of the fields, the intense blue of the sea, the light yellow of the broom and the pink of the peach flowers.

When some years ago we saw all these colours and nature, and the old farmhouse with its stable painted in a shocking blue, we couldn’t avoid to be caught by irresistible passion. The same passionate care for architectural details and the use of original materials has inspired the restoration works which have maintained the original features of this old building.
And we couldn’t avoid to share the coloured soul of our house with others. That’s how the marvellous adventure of “Vento di Rose” began.

"Great B&B, great breakfast, great view from the breakfast patio"
giotravel, denver  Jul 30, 2007

"My experience with this property took place in:
April, 2007
Emmanuela and Ovidio are incredible hosts, warm, caring, friendly. The rooms have such an incredible touch, an experience on itself. . The view from the B&B is incredible and breathtaking. The covered patio where we had breakfast every morning offered such a panoramic view of the mountains and the ocean and the valley. The breakfast was a meal fit for a king. Enough food to have a leftover for dinner. The place is located right below the town of Monterubbiano. We hiked the trail to reach this ancient town sitting on the of a hill offering a 360 degree view of the surrounding towns perched on topf of other hills.
We will go back there again. If you look for a place to relax, meditate, write, paint, photography, Vento di Rose is the place!"

"Artist's paradise!"
CA_paintbrush, Bay Area, CA  Jun 12, 2007
"What an absolutely beautiful place! The views are magnificent, valley of farmland, olives, grapes, castles on nearby hills, beautiful mountains in the distance. And the grounds - Emanuela's flowers are to die for. The whole yard is covered with color! And hearing the bells in the distance is a treat.

The rooms are clean and convenient, Great bed! Even a homebaked treat on the bedtable.

And then there is the food!!! What wonderful food!! Emanuela wanted us to taste the foods from the region and gave us quite a spread: a veg tort, baked zuchini w tomato, pastries with fillings, truffles on toast, bread, homemade marmelades (rose, blueberry, elderberry, honey lemon and apple). Then blood oranges & olives in olive oil and cheese and roasted tomatoes. Then just for me, because my daughter & son-in-law are vegitarians, proseutto and salami.

Then after this wonderful meal Emanuela packed up our left-overs for our trip on the road.

Since we were doing a fast trip through Italy on our way to visit relatives in Croatia we had only booked one night. Next time I will really plan on staying longer in this beautiful place. It is a "destination" for me to look forward to.

Emanuela and Emidio were wonderful hosts and we really thank them for our stay".
