Apartment Details
We have 3 one bedroom apartments (Papavero, Tulipano and Lavanda) and one 2 bedroom apartment (Girasole).
All apartments are non-smoking. They have been decorated to a very high standard and include heating, air-conditioning, wireless internet facility, kitchen area with 4 ring gas hob, microwave oven and fridge with freezer compartment. The two bedroom apartment (Girasole) also has a dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Lounge areas are equipped with luxury leather sofas, TV and DVD player.
There is a laundry room with washing machine for use by our guests.
Apartments are cleaned on a weekly basis and fresh bedlinen and towels are provided.
Pool towels are avilable to hire at a minimal cost. A refundable deposit of 200 euros per apartment is payable on arrival. A detailed visitors guide is available in all apartments.
The spacious landscaped gardens offer areas for dining, relaxing or simply lazing by our 12m x 6m private pool where you can gaze at the stunning views whilst enjoying the fresh air and peaceful surroundings.
Comfortable sunbeds and sunshades are provided and Girasole (groundfloor 2 bedroom apartment) also has a private garden to the rear of the property. BBQs are available for use by the guests.
Private parking is provided.
2 Bedroom Apartment (sleeps 4/5) - Girasole
Situated on the ground floor comprising large open plan lounge and dining area with kitchen facilities, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower. There is a private garden to the rear of the property with outdoor dining facilities. This is a large apartment and can easily accommodate a family of 5.
1 Bedroom Apartment (sleeps 2) - Papavero
Situated on the first floor with south facing views of the gardens, pool and countryside, it comprises open plan lounge and dining area with kitchen facilities, one double bedroom and bathroom with shower. Outdoor dining facilities provided in the gardens.

1 Bedroom Apartment (sleeps 2 + 2) - Tulipano
Situated on the first floor with high beamed ceilings it comprises lounge with large leather sofa bed, kitchen and dining area, one twin bedroom (which can be converted to queensize) and bathroom with shower. Outdoor dining facilities provided in the gardens.
1 Bedroom Apartment (sleeps 2 + 2) - Lavanda
Stunning loft apartment situated on the second floor comprising open plan lounge with small double sofa bed and dining area. Separate kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom with shower. Outdoor dining facilities provided in the gardens.

Caserma Carina has been a labour of love and we welcome our guests to enjoy a private escape in our luxury, well-appointed and spacious apartments where you can sample the many wonderful aspects of this unspoilt and beautiful region. Guests can relax in total comfort in a tranquil setting, whilst still being only minutes away from local amenities. We live on site and are always available for tips on the local area, what to do, where to go, where to eat etc.

Don’t forget we are fully air-conditioned and do not charge extra for this – a must for the summer months here with temperatures reaching the high 30s on a regular basis.

PLACES TO VISIT:
15 minute walk to the historic hilltop town of Mogliano, which has three restaurants, bars, banks, supermarket and many other shops providing for all of your requirements. There is also an open air market every Tuesday.
There are many local restaurants within a 15 minute drive offering traditional Marche cuisine.
40 minutes from the beautiful Adriatic coast.
40 minutes from the spectacular Sibillini National Park where guests can enjoy skiing in the winter and walking holidays throughout the year as well as other activities.

45 minutes from the stunning Monte Conero Regional Nature Park.
25 minutes from the beautiful and historic city of Macerata which annually hosts the second largest open air opera festival in Italy during July and August.
Less than an hour from the ancient city of Ascoli Piceno with it's Romanesque architecture, medieval streets, noble patrician palaces, museums full of masterpieces of art and magnificent main square.
A moderate drive will also enable visits to some of Umbria's attractions such as Assisi, Perugia and Spoleto.

Note - Heating will be charged separately based on usage. One bedroom apartments are based on 2 people sharing. Each additional person is charged at £20 per person per week

Note - Bookings are Saturday to Saturday.
However, mid-week arrivals and shorter stays will be considered depending on availability.
Discounts are also available for guests staying 3 or more consecutive weeks.
COOKING COURSES:
You can now, as part of your holiday, enjoy a cooking course at the fantastic il Maniero restaurant and art club, just 10 minutes from Caserma Carina Country House. You will enjoy a warm and friendly welcome from academy chef Guida Stacchietti who will create regional and traditional Italian dishes using fresh, local produce from this rural and unspoilt area of Italy.
You will be taught how to cook a whole variety of local cuisine including homemade pasta, traditional meat dishes and wonderful Italian desserts just to mention a few. Guida will also guide you through the art of food presentation.
Courses can be organised according to your requirement, from a single morning followed by the lunch you have just created to a full 5 mornings after which you can either enjoy your lunch in the sumptuous dining rooms at Il Maniero or Guida will pack it up for you to enjoy at your leisure at Caserma Carina.
Staying in luxury self catering apartments, complete with cooking facilities, you will have plenty of spare time to visit the many local markets and try out your newly taught skills. For fish lovers we have now arranged for a local supplier to visit every Wednesday morning where you can purchase freshly caught fish on your own doorstep.
Subject to availability the courses can be arranged on dates to suit yourself and if you have any special requests we will of course try to ensure they are incorporated. Costs for a morning's class followed by lunch with wine starts at £50 per person, the exact price would depend on the duration of the course and the number of participants, please contact us if you would like a specific quote.
GETTING HERE
Our nearest airport is Ancona. Ryanair has a daily flight, go to www.ryanair.com for availability. The closest alternative where you can often find cheaper flights is Pescara (also Ryanair) B.A. and Alitalia fly to Rome or Bologna.
Cars can be hired from the airport, and we would recommend that you pre-book in advance via Ryanair for this service.
