With rock gardens full of lavender, olive and fig trees, it's perfect heaven. ![]() Casa d'Anna has a balcony terrace for dining al fresco, again with amazing views of the Sibillini Mountains and the small hill top town of Gualdo which is 3 kilometres away and has all necessary facilities, bank, baker, cafe, restaurant etc. .![]() LOCALITY Gualdo is surrounded by Marche's loveliest countryside. With the Sibillini Mountain range on the horizon and the rolling hills around you, you may find you do not wish to go anywhere else! However, discovery of the nearby hilltop towns of Gualdo, Sarnano and San Ginesio are a must. The Sibillini National Park only 30 minutes away offers unrivalled hiking, biking or exploring by car! Ski at Sassotetto, find Lake Fiastra, Montefortino, and the Gorge of Hell ! Macerata, the provincial capitol offers outdoor opera July and August held in Italy's best open-air venue outside Verona. The sandy Adriatic beaches are less than an hour away. Tolentino has gothic frescos of medieval life.... the Abbazia di Fiastra is a cistercian abbey with a nature reserve ... investigate the Roman ruins at Urbis Salvia and Falerone.....Ascoli Piceno has the most beautiful piazza of marble......So many wonderful discoveries untouched by regular tourism. Ryan Air fly in direct from Stansted to Ancona (the closest) and Pescara. Alitalia fly from Heathrow to Ancona with a change usually in Milan, and. | Casa d'Anna Sleeps 4 ![]() Accommodation Casa d'Anna is elegantly furnished, offering a beautiful fireplace in the sitting room, log burning stove in the kitchen and full central heating. Original beams are found throughout with cotto tiled floors. The sitting room has french windows opening onto a rear terrace, TV (sky) DVD, video, CD player. ![]() The first floor - large open plan kitchen and dining area has a beautiful balcony terrace overlooking the mountains for outdoor summer eating. The kitchen is fully equiped with dishwasher, fridgefreezer, large cooker and has a utility area off with washing machine and dryer ![]() ![]() Bedrooms ![]() Two bedrooms, one on the ground floor with ensuite shower room. This room has two singles that can be made into a double. The other on the second floor has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and small private balcony. ![]() There is a further shower room with WC at kitchen level. ![]() Outside There is a small landscaped garden area and several acres of hillside woods and a meadow. The pool is 10 X 4.5 metres and is shared with Casa Francesca and 1 other house that is privately owned. There are sunloungers, shady umbrellas and wonderful views.
