| APARTMENTS IN AN OLIVE GROVE MOGLIANO, LE MARCHE. ITALY.  L'Oliveto is an old farmhouse in an olive grove, converted to create a house for the owner and two self catering apartments. It stands on its own hill at the end of the road, deep in the heart of rolling farmland, in Le Marche.
The property is five minutes from the centre of Mogliano, forty minutes from the coast, and from the mountains, and just over an hour from Ancona airport. Macerata, a small university city with theatre, opera and an amphitheatre, is twenty minutes away, and Piediripa, an industrial area with supermarkets and shopping centers, is fifteen minutes away. Mogliano has four thousand inhabitants, an active local council, a post office, all shopping facilities, a weekly market, six bars and two restaurants.

| The original features which give it L'Oliveto character have been maintained and restored - the beamed ceilings, small corner windows in each room, and wall cupboards. The stairs are all slate, worn down at the centres from centuries of passage. The interior combines the rustic feel of the original interior with some of antiques and modern furniture, as well as some pieces made from wood salvaged during the building process, and given a modern twist. In the apartments, which were originally the cattle stalls, the original tiny openings have been kept as windows, whilst there are new long windows which give slanting views into the garden. There are terraces everywhere, to catch the sun or shade at different times of day, with shade sails for those most exposed to the sunlight. There are views across the valley into sunflower fields, up to the town of Mogliano, and through into the next valley, with farmhouses tucked in amongst the trees. 2 Bedroom Apartment - Rosa  Apartment Rosa is a self-catering apartment with two double bedrooms. It has a bathroom with large shower and a living room with a kitchen leading onto a private terrace. The kitchen is fully-equipped with fridge, oven and stove. The original features of the property have been maintained and this apartment has exposed roof timbers and traditional ceilings with windows set deep into the walls. The apartment is cool in the summer and flooded with evening sunshine through the French window from the kitchen onto the terrace. The terrace has a shade sail which spans from the wall to the one hundred year old olive tree outside. The furnishings have been chosen to suit the atmosphere of the property.   1 BedroomApartment - Lavanda Apartment Lavanda is a one bedroom apartment with one double bedroom and a living room with open-plan kitchen and dining area. It is ideal for a couple or for a couple with one child, as there is a sofa bed in the living area, with the alternative option of fitting a small bed into the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, fridge and worksurface and the bathroom has a large shower. The apartment is on the first floor, entered from the front terrace of the house, where there is a private terrace with table and chairs and a shade sail for the exclusive use of the guests staying in the apartment. The apartment benefits from cool breezes during the summer. The morning sun comes into the living room and the bedroom and kitchen area have evening sun, filtered through the pine tree outside. It has views down to the pool and across the valley. It has been restored in the simple style of the main farmhouse and has exposed roof timbers and ceilings and original wooden doors. Guests have full use of the grounds, where there are two conversation pits with barbeque facilities, and several eating areas which take advantage of the sun at different times of day.
