Villa Acacia is not isolated and has easy access to regional capitol Fermo (15km), the Adriatic coast (20km) and to explore the Sibillini Mountains (30km). Location: The property is near to the medieval hill town of Falerone. It is known for the Archaeological Park that protects the remains of Falerio Picenus. Several Roman villas and baths remain as well as a restored amphitheatre. It lies between the Sibillini National Park and the sandy beaches of the Adriatic. The Sibillini mountains are snow capped for much of the year and are a stunning backdrop to the natural beauty of this area. The biggest local town is Fermo with its 1st century underground complex of cisterns, which supplied the Roman Imperial fleet with fresh water.
