SARNANO, LE MARCHE. ITALY. .... The Villa is set in two and a half hectares of land and consists of a house and converted barn.  There are two three bedroom apartments in the house accessed through the main arch, and two two bedroom apartments in the barn. En-suite rooms in the barn can also be rented on a room only basis. In fact whatever your party size, we can cater for anything from 2 to 28 people. The area closest to the house has various settings designed for your free time and relaxation. You can choose between the 14m pool and large patio area, surrounding gardens, the covered loggia (a shady escape from the afternoon sun) or the indoor courtyard garden to relax and enjoy the scenery.  Facilities Swimming Pool Our 14-metre pool is sufficiently large to give several parties their own space in the pool itself, and in the large south-facing sunbathing area. You can delight in the uninterrupted views all around, far away from the stresses of normal life.  Kitchen We have ensured that all kitchens are well equipped with new ovens, crockery and cutlery. We know that if you are coming to Italy you must enjoy your food so we have made sure that the knives are sharp and the pans big enough for that Ragu. Entertainment All apartments have a Television, CD and DVD player and SKY TV in both English and Italian. We have a road bike and a selection of new mountain bikes for your use. The Villa has 'Bocci' balls available, which are the Italian equivalent of French 'petanque' or bowls. Linen There is a communal washing machine. Bed linen, towels etc are all provided. However, guests are advised to bring their own towels for swimming and the beach. If you are staying for more than one week, bed linens and towels will be changed each weekend.  .. Heating All apartments have gas central heating. Please note that there is an extra charge for any heating. Babysitting It is possible to arrange a baby sitting/listening service at the Villa. Also, highchairs and a cot are available for our guests to use. Please ask at the point of booking to confirm availability. Local facilities Sarnano has numerous restaurants, a colourful weekly market and fishmongers, 7 butchers, a great array of delicatessens, 3 Supermarkets, bars, shops, churches, a park, football pitch, crazy golf and a music pub that opens late. These are the facilities in and around the Villa. If you want to know anything else about the Villa or the surrounding area, please do not hesitate to contact us. National Park The Villa lies 1 kilometre from the Sibillini National Park that protects the wildlife and medieval villages in this beautiful and dramatic stretch of the Appennine Mountains. Le Marche itself is a tapestry of ancient cities, rolling hills, awesome mountains, hidden valleys and long, sandy beaches. In short, it’s an outstanding holiday destination. .  . Weekends Please note that weekend bookings are available outside of the high season. Prices are pro-rated and can be confirmed on request. Change-over day This is a Saturday but we will endeavour to be flexible whenever possible. Room Only basis Double or twin rooms in Apartment Damiano can be rented outside of the high season at a cost of £40/€60 per night. Apartment Gigi (3 bedrooms – 6/8 persons) The first floor of the house has exposed wooden lintels and beams, old cotto tiles and a number of arches. A double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, an open plan lounge with comfortable sofa bed and a dining room leading onto a modern well equipped kitchen with a range style cooker and hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher.  Apartment Grazia (3 bedrooms-6/8 persons) This apartment offers great views all round and has a roof which has been exposed to reveal old beams and cotto tiles to create a characteristic and spacious feel. This apartment also has three bedrooms; a double and two twins. The double bedroom has an ensuite shower room and there is also a spacious bathroom with a shower. The open plan living room, with comfortable, high quality sofa bed, is light and airy. It has a roomy lounge and dining area with a well-equipped kitchen. There is an oven and hob, fridge freezer and a dishwasher.  Apartment Damiano (2 bedrooms – 2/4/6 persons) The two bedroomed ground floor of the barn has exposed wooden ceilings, exposed original stonework and doors leading to both the pool area, the garden and the tranquillity of the 'cortile' or indoor courtyard garden.
